The fauns

This morning, while racing in to work and trying to put in my earrings and steer with my knees at the same time, I saw three deer. It was so...I don't know..."magical." lol. Wow, that's dorky...But it's true!
The place where I work is back in the woods, and to get there, you have to take this long, windy road. So, here I am, careening around curves and darting looks at the clock at five seconds to see just how late I am. When, all of a sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I see something moving in the underbrush. And there, just to my right, a doe and her two fauns are grazing at the edge of the woods. I slammed on my breaks, naturally, because there is nothing scarier than hitting a dear with a brand new shiny car, but they didn't seem to notice me. They just ambled on, totally carefree, totally unconcerned about anything at all. I stopped and watched them for a minute. When it came time to move on, I noticed that absolutely all my stress had evaporated.
Just goes to show...

Actually, I don't really know what it goes to show...But it was pretty freakin cool!
